Start and Finish 5K and 10K route:
Course:
- Starting in the Professor’s Lake parking lot
- Left and continue out of parking lot
- Right onto North Park Drive
- Run to turnaround at Pleasant Valley Place
- After turnaround continue on North Park Drive
- Left on Panda Lane
- Left on Porteous Circle
- Left on to path and follow around the lake
- Left on Professors Lake Parkway
- Left on Pepperwood Place
- Enter path at end of Pepperwood Place
- Continue to follow the lake path
- Right at the parking lot
- Left towards the finish area
COURSE INFORMATION
Volunteers and First Aid will be available along the route to assist you if needed.
The route is mostly flat and fast, with a couple small hill/inclines.
Please pay attention to marshals and police officers. follow instructions when asked to stay on the path or sidewalks as only part of the roadways will be closed for the race. Please use caution when crossing streets.
Water Station
Two water stations will be available on the route near the halfway points and at the finish line.
Washrooms and Changing
NOTE: We will not have access to the Professors Lake Recreation Centre this year as there is some construction going on. We will have porta potties available but there will be no area to get changed. This construction does not impact the race route which remains the same.
Walkers and Time Limits
All walkers are welcome to participate and will be awarded a finishers medal. We only ask that you line up at the back of the runners. A two hour time limit is placed on the race which will leave plenty of time to walk the route and finish comfortably.
Strollers, Pets and Roller Blades
Please no pets or roller blades are allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted, but should line up near the rear of the start line.
PARKING
Designated parking for the event will be available at: Professors Lake Recreation Centre (Capacity 80 cars) 1660 North Park Road Brampton, Ontario L6S 4B4 Additional parking: St. John Bosco School 1025 North Park Road Brampton, Ontario L6S 4B4 And nearby street parking in the event of full lots at the Rec Centre and school. *Please DO NOT park at the Brampton Chinese Baptist Church or the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall locations across the street.

Race Kits
Your race kit will include your bib, timing chip and a technical shirt.
Race Bibs and Timing Chips
Your timing chip is integrated with the bib. Please be sure to write your full name, emergency contact information and any allergies or health conditions you have on the back of your race bib.
Bag Check
An area outside the Professors Lake Recreation Centre will be designated as a bag drop location. We strongly recommend that you leave your valuables at home.
POST RACE
Indoor washrooms are available. Snacks and water will be available.
MEDALS AND PRIZES
All completed participants will receive a finishers medal
- Top 3 finishers male and female will be awarded
- First place Youth team awarded
Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to help with the race! We have various opportunities available;
- Start / Finish Line
- Water Stations
- Food Stations
- Photography
- Registration Table
- Set-up / Tear Down
- Cheering Crew
If you are a Grade 9 – 12 student and need volunteer hours, please feel to help in one of the above positions. We will sign-off on your volunteer hours. Please fill out the following Run4Hope Volunteer Form and email it to volunteers@bramptonbenders.com.
Shift for all positions will be 8 am until noon. The race will be held regardless of the weather so please come dressed appropriately to be outside. If you have been confirmed to help and are unable to fulfill your commitment please let us know ASAP so we can find a replacement.
We also accept adults who would like to help out at our event as well. Please fill out the above form and email it to volunteers@bramptonbenders.com.
Please note, we have 100 spots and will close the application process once we meet that target. Requests to volunteer without a completed form will be ignored.
Volunteers will receive an email confirming their participation in this event within 24 hours of receipt of the form.
