Congratulations to Ines and her marathon run in the Rock N Roll Marathon Lisbon, Portugal.  Also congratulations to Jackie, Alain and everyone else who ran the Niagara Falls International Marathon. Apparently the weather was good but the heavy winds were a factor. Well done all! Congratulations to any other Bender racers we missed. Just a reminder, the Bender apparel store will be opening again for your orders. Thank you to all the Benders who participated in the Run 4 the Cure, lots of fun, all pinked up! Twenty six Benders, I think, ran/walked. Lots of great pictures on Facebook and we even are mentioned in an article in the Brampton Guardian. Stay tuned for a separate post on the event. Way to go Alain, the fastest Runner overall!! This Week – June 5th

As usual, our Bender generated positive energy, pushed away all the rain clouds Sunday morning up in Inglewood. It was pouring rain when we started our run in the morning (we were even contemplating calling it off). But as we ran the rain slowed down and stopped half way thru the run. It was great being able to surprise Alan with treats afterwards. And to see Don and Pam out with us. Way to go all the Bender racers in Streetsville for the Bread and Honey. Sunday Update and Niagara Ultra

Thanks to all that came out this morning for the run in Inglewood and post run retirement celebration for Allan. There were 17 Benders that came out! Who’s has signed up for the Niagara races?
